The Chief Joseph Page
Created By Patrick Mackey

Welcome! This is a page I made for my Honors Humanities 9 class, for the To Kill A Mockingbird multimedia project (#8). Below are buttons that link to all sections of my page, which include: Chief Joseph section, where I explain a little about his life, what issues he faced, and what he did about them; The Atticus Finch Section, where I compare Atticus (from the book) to Chief Joseph and how they both took a stand; A Nez Perce section to give you some background information on how Chief Joseph lived; The quotes section, which are a list of quote from Chief Joseph I have compiled; The Photo Gallery, which has photos of Chief Joseph and the Nez Perce; and a links section, linking to the places where I found all this information. Now that you know what each section of the page is about, click on one of the buttons below to go to the one you are interested in:

If your interested in my assignment for making this page, here is what is required: Prepare a report or multimedia presentation on an individual who has taken a stand. Explain the issue, the person's reasons for taking a stand, and the consequences that person faced. Include an explanation of why you find this person's stand significant. You might consider people such as: Mahatma Gandhi, Susan B. Anthony, Sojourner Truth, Chief Joseph, Edmund G. Ross or another person in John F. Kennedy's Profiles in Courage, or Cesar Chavez. Conclude with an explanation, pictorial or otherwise, of how this individual parallels to a character in To Kill A Mockingbird.
